Hi, my name is Hannah and welcome to my blog, Idealistic Iowan! Here are ten things you should know about me:

  1. I’m originally from Iowa, but am currently living in a town in the UK.
  2. I earned an MA in Sports Journalism.
  3. I don’t currently have a full-time job, but I do a lot of freelance transcribing work, along with writing this blog!
  4. I am an amateur stand-up comedian.
  5. I run a beauty review Instagram called crossreviews
  6. I’m married to a Brit named Peter. He’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me (cheesy, I know).
  7. I love reading, photography, going for walks, finding new places to eat, and baking.
  8. I hate driving!
  9. I’ve been to 10 different countries and more than half of the United States.
  10. My enneagram is 4.
